tense 2

6.Past Continuous Tense(ประธาน +was/were+ v.3)
ใช้ในความหมายดังต่อไปนี้

1.เหตุการณ์เกิดขึ้นแล้วในอดีต อาจบบอกเวลาหรือไม่ก็ได้เช่น
We were listening to the radio all evening.
It was getting darker.
The light went out while I was reading.
When I saw him, he was playing chess.

2.ถ้ามีคำว่า always , continually,etc บอกถึงนิสัยในอดีตเช่น
He was always grumbling.

7.Past Perfect Tense (ประธาน + had +v.3)
ใช้ในความหมายดังต่อไปนี้
1.การกระทำที่จบแล้วในเวลา หนึ่งในอดีต เช่น
I met him in New Delhi in 1970. I had seen him last five years.

2.เมื่อมี 2 เหตุการณ์เกิดขึ้นในอดีต เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดก่อนใช้ tense นี้ เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นที่หลังใช้ Past simple เช่น

When I reached the staion the train had started ( so I couldn't get into the train.)
I had done my excercise when Hari came to see me.
I had written the letter beore he arrived.

8.Past perfect Continuous Tense (ประธาน + had +been+v.1+ing)
ใช้ในความหมายที่เหตุการณ์เกิด ก่อนจุดเวลาในอดีต ดำเนินมาถึงอีกเวลาหนึ่งเช่น

At that time he had been writing a novel for two months.
When Mr. Mukerji came to the school in 1963, Mr.Anand had already been teaching there for five years.

9.Simple Future Tense (ประธาน + shall/will+v.1)

ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตเช่น
I shall see him tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be Sunday.

ถ้ามีความตั้งใจจะใช่ในรูป going to + infinitive เช่น
He is going to build a new house.

10.Future Continuous Tense (ประธาน +shall/ will+ be +v.1+ ing)
ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคตเช่น
I shall be reading the paper then.
When I get home, my children will be playing.

11.Future Perfect Tense (ประธาน +shall /will+have+v.3)
ใช้ในความหมาย ว่าการกระทำจะจบในเวลานั้นๆ ในอนาคตเช่น
I shall have written my excercise by that time.
Before you go to see him, he will have left the place.

12.Future Perfect Continuous Tense (ประธาน +shall/ will+ have+been +v.3)
ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ดังนี้

By next July we shall have been living here for four years.
When he gets his degre, he will have been studying at Oxford for four years.
